HOW CBT CAN HELP
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidenced based therapy proven highly effective in treating a wide range of issues. It is based on the concept that what we think, do and feel are interconnected. Even a slight change in one area, will bring about a change in the others, which keeps us motivated.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Group sessions are relaxed and confidentiall, in person and FREE!
As we talk, we will explore the patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours running beneath our daily level of consciousness.
You will leave with a free, cognitive behavioural tool kit to support your mood.
MORE DETAILS
Our trainees will deliver this small group workshop using a cognitive behavioural techniques to help manage Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and low mood.
You will also explore Tools for preventing Burnout and Practical Mindfulness
WHEN & WHERE
There are two groups planned. Tuesday 30th Jan and Tuesday 6th Feb OR Thursday 1st and Thursday 8th Feb from 2pm-5:30pm
The group will take place at The Bayes Centre, 47 Potterrow, Edinburgh, EH8 9BT
